February 12 was Darwin’s Day , a celebration of the 198th birthday of Charles Darwin and the 148th anniversary of the publication of his famous book On the Origin of Species.beetle

J.B.S. Haldane (British evolutionary biologist 1892-1964), was asked by a clergyman what we can learn about God from the study of creation. He answered:

He has an inordinate fondness for beetles.*

*over 350,000 species of beetles have been identified, so far…
