No Budget Bills

                         Chris did a nice job in the Fitzsimon File detailing some of the sillier parts of the budget process today.  This past weekend on Saturday lawmakers received the budget bill the same morning they voted on all 321 pages of it.   The above sign was posted in the printed bills office in the NC General Assembly on Monday before final votes would be taken on the budget.  The printed bills office is where members of the public can go get copies of bills the General Assembly is considering.  It reads:

NO BUDGET BILLS

Will not get any until after it has passed. 
Sorry.  [frowning face]
