You're right, JT. I have no use for either Greenspan or Colin Powell. These so-called nonpartisan very serious wise men have only one principle...money. Greenspan needs an 8 million dollar book advance before he discovers Bush puts politics above all else...thanks for the help, alan... I never would have guessed.

and Powell...who in his latest effort to "replenish the ol' coffers" is modestly described as a "legendary soldier statesman." Go here to see what the General is up to:

Men of principle speak the truth when it matters, not when they get a book deal.

You have to admit, the conservatives have had a very good run since the days of old, when welfare queens were spotted driving around town in their cadillacs. OK, maybe that only really happened in fictional GOP spin-land...
It is interesting to hear Alan Greenspan, one of the chief enablers of the Bush tax cuts for the ultra-rich, now say that he blames the Bush administration and the republican congress for wrecking our budget and jeopardizing our economy.
The vaunted Mr. Greenspan says the GOP deserved the defeat they took last year... we should do everything we can to ensure that next year at the polls will be a continuation of the critical house-cleaning that was started in 2006.
