Hey Jayme, Ilove the theme but I was wondering if you have any plans in the works of creating a blog theme that will allow for a 'full-site' look with the theme?

we do not need more "privitization" and we certainly don't need bank loans to pay of hospital bills. I praise God that my wife and I both have good jobs with medical coverage. Even with our insurance we have had to pay thousands of dollars from the time my wife and children spent in the hospital during childbirth.
Another thing that makes me so mad is when I get an Explanation of Benefits from my insurance that shows what they paid to the Doctor or Hospital compared to what the hospital originally charged. There is often several hundred dollars difference between what the doctors will accept from insurance companies and what they bill individuals. That is, if a procedure in a hospital is billed to a patient at $700, the insurance may pay $300 and it's settled. The other $400 was just an overcharge on the part of the hospital. However, if the patient doesn't have insurance, he ends up paying the whole $700, no reduction for him. It's ridiculous and criminal!

You know, the strangest thing about this plan to me was the enormous amount of work that obviously went in to producing such a bad document. You can tell the guy has lots of $$ - he really must have paid through the nose for someone to come up with this thing.

Graham would rather invite the private insurance industry in to “save” Medicaid, supposedly expanding services and covering more people.

Sounds like the solution we tried in order to save our Mental Health program and we all know how well that privatization effort turned out.

Thanks for this. I'm glad Graham's sleight-of-hand "ideas" are getting some well-deserved attention. Fortunately, almost no one in North Carolina (besides Bill Graham himself) actually cares what Mr. Gas Tax has to say about anything. This campaign is going nowhere - for lots of good reasons.
