As Sam LaGrone and Joseph Neff devastatingly detailed in yesterday's News and Observer, Franklin Regional Hospital – which has reported over $10 million in profit each of the last two years – has clearly been putting profits over patient health. I can't think of a better illustration of this mindset than this ad, a product of this decade's shift in how at least some organizations think about healthcare:
