At yesterday’s hearing on the state health plan reforms that will mean state employees pay millions more in out of pocket costs for health care, NC State Health Plan Administrator Jack Walker told General Assembly members that he would stop paying doctors and hospitals at the end of this month unless legislators act quickly on his bill. What happened to taking time for debate?
