Here’s a new idea for a parlor game. Find the most obnoxious recommendation in the “Freedom Neanderthal budget” from you know who in think tankville on the Right.

There’s plenty to choose from, large and small, ending Smart Start, reducing Medicaid services, eliminating the Earned Income Tax Credit, abolishing the Housing Trust Fund or the state’s Home Protection Pilot Program that helps people facing foreclosure stay in their homes.

The program is a model for states across the nation. The Neanderthal Budget says it should be eliminated to “restore civil society.”

But my favorite recommendation today is to cut more that a million dollars from the Rape Victim Assistance Program.  There’s another move toward restoring a civil society, don’t you think?
