All of which are possible vis a vis Medicare? My healthy family of three is paying over $750/ month for BCBSNC Advanta insurance that does not provide reimburseable colonoscopies OR mammograms. In order to get to these I have to spend $2500 PER PERSON out of my pocket IN ADDITION TO THESE OUTRAGEOUS PREMIUMS in order to obtain these necessary services. Oh, didn't you know? There is a law mandating colorectal screening in NC. Doesn't matter: NC state legislature allows BCBSNC to OPT OUT. They were allowed to OPT OUT of mental health parity law which was passed in 2008.
