<description>NOW we know why BCBSNC was stockpiling all that money: THEY&#039;RE TRYING TO KILL ACCESS TO PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE

see for info on scrutinizing BCBSNC:
http://madamedefarge2scutinizingbcbsnc.blogspot.com/

We need PUBLIC INSURANCE as a possibility---CAN YOU SAY: MEDICARE WILL GIVE ME ACCESS TO REIMBURSED SCREENING COLONOSCOPIES? or REIMBURSED SCREENING MAMMOGRAMS? or REIMBURSED MENTAL HEALTH PARITY? All of which are possible vis a vis Medicare?

My healthy family of three is paying over $750/ month for BCBSNC Advanta insurance that does not provide reimburseable colonoscopies OR mammograms. In order to get to these I have to spend $2500 PER PERSON out of my pocket IN ADDITION TO THESE OUTRAGEOUS PREMIUMS in order to obtain these necessary services.

Oh, didn&#039;t you know? There is a law mandating colorectal screening in NC. Doesn&#039;t matter: NC state legislature allows BCBSNC to OPT OUT. They were allowed to OPT OUT of mental health parity law which was passed in 2008.

BCBSNC is in the top 5 wealthiest Blues in the US (out of 28 Blues) and they have been stockpiling YOUR money and MY money in order to undo us as re: having access to government sponsored health insurance:
