US Senate Briefing Paper on Health Care Reform

This came out last week (May 21 – it was apparently leaked last weekend) in the US Senate’s Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP). This committee has been much less public with its deliberations. The paper includes and employer and individual mandate and a public health insurance plan option. In addition there are strict new limits on private insurers and substantial premium assistance. Overall, really much more a general outline than any detailed look – but the important elements are there, including a public plan:

Old Russian saying…You can tell same lie 1000 time but not change truth!

Difference between USSR Communist media and USA “mainstream media”

In Russia government make media say what they want – even if lie.
In USA “mainstream media” try make government what they want – even if lie..
    …..eventually they become same thing?!

Do we really want someone who can not even show his own birth certificate try “reform” healthcare

Actually, it’s the US Senate that’s putting together the health plan at the moment. Wonder if they all have birth certificates?
