…to your weekend, you might have missed two columns from NC Policy Watch published last Friday. They’re worth reading.

Rob Schofield believes North Carolina is hypocritical in its approach to criminal sentencing, which continues to produce bad results. He sets the record straight in his column entitled “Wanted: A little courage when it comes to crime and punishment.”

In his Friday Follies report, Chris Fitzsimon captures the absurdity of the conservatives economic and tax plans and questions why Governor Perdue hasn’t been more vocal on budget matters.
