Together NC – Rally for Children and Families

ABC-11 Report: The NC General Assembly is currently considering a mix of severe budget cuts along with possibly raising revenues to balance the NC state budget. (Note: Proposed budget cuts are 3x greater than any proposed tax increases.) Together NC represents over 100 organizations asking legislators to balance the budget with a balanced approach – budget cuts should be eased with fairly raised revenue so we don’t have to do things like deny kids health insurance, older adults home care, and teachers their jobs.
