Rep. Brad Miller gets death threats on health care legislation

Miller’s office says it’s going to meet one-on-one with constituents to discuss health reform. This is why the email forwarded by a legislative assistant to state Rep. Laura Wiley that equates reform with genocide is so dangerous. And this is why Americans for Prosperity lying to people about mandatory end-of-life counseling sessions is so dangerous.

If you oppose reform, fine. But using this sort of language is preposterous.

    I hope that the creator of the video will be contacted and investigated by the police. The Aide that forwarded this insanity should lose her job, unless she was just doing what the Rep. that she works for told her to do. Which is an even scarier thought. The lies have gotten so bad and the Republican led organizations that are distorting facts and promoting those lies should be held accountable for all violations of the law that they are inciting. I thought inciting to riot was illegal? Why aren’t they being brought up on charges? Isn’t there a law that says something like if an individual or entity lies and twists the facts with the purpose of promoting violence towards another person then that is illegal? I am not going to let their threats, harrassment, and insanity stop me from participating in Town Halls and speaking out in support of Health Care Reform. I really hope that those that support Health Care Reform with a Public Option aren’t scared off from openly showing their support.

    So let’s stop having the town halls in the first place. Other people, sane people, actually want to communicate with their legislators and are being denied this opportunity by a bunch of jerks looking for their 15 minutes of insane.

    The health care reform protesters compare President Obama to Adolph Hilter. Outrageous. Although it seems that the anti’s are taking a page from the Nazi playbook:
