Greenville health forum

Posted at 12:43 PM by Adam Linker

Last night the State Employees Association of North Carolina hosted a town hall forum in Greenville. The event was well attended and although the questions were heated at times, it all remained civil.

Let’s hope more forums proceed with the same decorum. And I would add that the opponents of health reform seemed genuine, not sent from Nancy Pelosi. She and the White House will have to do better next time — it would have been difficult to demonize the conservative attendees.

Please post any Health Care Reform Town Halls in Franklin, Vance, Warren, Granville, or Wake Counties as I would love to attend one. I am a supporter of Health Care Reform to include a Public Health Plan. Unfortunately, many Health Care Reform Town Halls aren’t handicapped accessible which makes it difficult for me to attend since I am in a wheelchair. But if you see one, please post it with as much advance notice as possible so I can plan to attend.
