Alan Wolf over at the N+O reports today that current CEO Bob Greczyn is looking at retiring next year and so has promoted longtime second-in-command Brad Wilson to put him in line for leading the company.
Wilson, who is extremely politically well-connected, was the point man on Blue Cross’s two major (unsuccessful) pushes to go private in the last 11 years. A harbinger of things to come?
