How about BCBS quits trying to wriggle out of paying valid emergency room claims. If a 70 year old person, who has not had an emergency room visit in 30 years, goes to the hospital at 2 AM with extreme abdominal pain, pay the claim!

Stop pretending that BCBSNC PPO offers any preventive care reimbursement. I get no screening colonoscopy within 75 miles (I live in Asheville, a major metropolis) and I get no reimbursed mammogram ANYWHERE. My healthy 3 members family pays $750+ / month for this coverage.

And stop talking about how Medicare would remove this because MEDICARE WILL PAY FOR SCREENING COLONOSCOPIES AND MAMMOGRAMS. So, enuf of the lying and baloney. (I feel my blood pressure going up so I better quit now).

thank you. marsha hammond, phd licensed psychologist

How about establishing an organizational salary cap of, say, $250,000 per year?
