Chris Fitzsimon criticizes Republican legislators,  who opposed the federal stimulus bill for their continued distortion of the facts in his column “The ongoing game of verbal Twister.”

He also criticizes Gov. Bev Perdue for her position on the prisoner release in his column “Politicians battle to out pander each other.”

    The notion that taking money from the people and then giving it back to them with orders on how it is to be spent is what is improving the economy is absolutely outrageous.

    The economy is very slowly recovering DESPITE the rediculous policies of the idiots in Washington.
