You knew it was only a matter of time.

After claiming that President Obama’s health care reform would kill our grandmothers, devastate Medicare and turn the United States into Lenin’s Soviet Union, reform opponents now say that the plan is also a ploy to take away everybody’s guns.

Think Progress has the details on the asburd claims by Gun Owners of America.

Wonder what they will come up with next, that health care reform will prohibit Americans from going to church?

    Actually, it could prevent you from going to church, come to think of it, if you are in prison for five years for failing to have insurance…
