It is always interesting what Google alerts bring to your inbox. Every so often I get an alert for something that was published last year or earlier, which normally I delete as soon as I realize it is out of date. But I got one today that is worth reading.
It is a comment in May of 2008 on the Democratic Underground about the presidential race and who Senator Obama should choose as his running mate.
The headline is almost enough.
Has anyone thought of MIKE EASLEY as Obama’s Vice-President?
The writer points out some things that make Easley a good candidate. The last one of which is that he “has loads of experience in the public eye.”
And that is still true today.
The last line of the comment is that ” I also think Edwards would be a great VP.”
