The primary election season is now well underway, bringing us all sort of interesting news from machine-gun fundraisers to suggestions about whose face should be on the $50 bill.
Republicans in Gaston County seeking the nomination to run for the state Senate seat held by the retiring David Hoyle are battling over who is more business friendly. The two leading Republican candidates are current House member Wil Neumann and realtor Kathy Harrington, who lost to Hoyle in 2008.
