Sights and sounds from today’s health care rally

Today dozens of North Carolinians who believe in common-sense health reform turned out on short notice to send a pro-health care message.

Despite short notice, 75-100 people turned out, dramatically outnumbering the anti-reform forces who initially organized a protest. The pro-reform coalition wanted to send a message of support to legislators like Congressman Bob Etheridge, who

Speeches from Adam Searing of the Health Access Coalition and James Andrews of AFL-CIO will be posted later today. For one indicative sound of the rally, here’s a popular chant: “Vote Yes, Fix this mess.”

    That 12 year old pretty much sums up the mentality of the entire Democratic Party.
