The NRA’s annual convention begins in Charlotte tommorrow. Attendees can not only hear from such right-wing stalwarts as Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich and Ted Nugent, they will have the chance to bid on items at several auctions. Here is one of the items up for sale.

Doesn’t everybody need their own sniper rifle?

    How can Americans still think that a “Progressive” world view is anything but totalitarianism in sheeps clothing?

    Unions and Dirty politians trying to make us the Govt slaves through taxation for the sake of “the Children”. Puhleeze…

    Does EVERYONE need a sniper rifle? Prolly not, but everyone should know how to shoot, and if some can afford a Sniper rifle as a luxury, then more power to them. Guns are tools of DEFENSE , not just criminality.

    God forbid the country ever collapses or comes under attack, but if it did, I certainly wouldn’t want the public to be so ignorant about the methods of and material of War , as your blog would have us be.

    Sorry, but I have a really hard time understanding how sniper rifles like these are considered “defensive” weapons. What is the range on that thing, a half-mile?
