North Carolina is back on the front page of the New York Times this morning in a story set in Huntersville. It’s about the Obama tax cuts that no one ever mentions.

In a troubling sign for Democrats as they head into the midterm elections, their signature tax cut of the past two years, which decreased income taxes by up to $400 a year for individuals and $800 for married couples, has gone largely unnoticed

The tax cuts came in the federal stimulus package, the one GOP Chair Tom Fetzer said was a total failure. He must have opposed cutting taxes on working families.
