One more disturbing thing about Tucson

It’s a relatively small matter, but it was hard to miss during last Saturday’s TV coverage. And it points to the rather amazing and depressing way that anti-human weaponry has so thoroughly permeated American culture. I noticed it as soon as CNN cut to local television coverage of the tragedy and am sure thousands of others were struck (and rendered a little queasy) by it as well.

The Tucson TV station providing minute-by-minute coverage of the event as it unfolded: KGUN.
