An environmental advocate’s blunt budget assessment

From Jane Preyer of the Environmental Defense Fund:

“This budget gets an ‘F’ on public health and the environment.  It guts the state’s ability to protect air and water quality.  It slashes land conservation trust funds.  It rolls the clock back on decades of protection that makes North Carolina what it is today – a safer, more beautiful place to live and do business.”
