The latest on LaRoque

Sarah Ovaska has the latest on the scandal surrounding Rep. Stephen LaRoque and it does’t look good. Court documents filed this week in Lenoir County show that LaRoque used money from his federally funded nonprofit to give his for-profit company a $200,000 interest free loan.

    It gets betterer and betterer. Laroque has taken it upon himself to redefine venality. The next thing we’ll hear is that he loaned money to Tillis and Berger to build a giant gay repellent umbrella in Stam’s garage.
