Pope machine targets Wake school board again

To hear the folks over in the Pope Empire speak in recent weeks, you’d think they’d never even heard of the Wake County School Board. Who us? Attempt to influence things to promote our anti-public education, anti-integration agenda? Whatever could have given you that idea?

Well, lest folks have any doubt (and they shouldn’t given given the fine work of groups like the Institute for Southern Studies [1] and Democracy North Carolina [2]), check out this robocall that one of the many partisan Pope groups left on my phone yesterday in an attempt to influence the ongoing school board election in which a Pope lackey is challenging incumbent Kevin Hill.

Note that money is apparently no object for these people since I don’t even live anywhere close to the district in question. Click on the link below to listen to this scurrilous and inaccurate call.
