Thom Tillis does it again

Another weekend “town hall” for House Speaker Thom Tillis, another open mouth, insert foot episode. (Thanks to the intrepid videographers at Progress NC for the link).

Got that? The Speaker of the North Carolina House is bragging that he passed a far right piece of legislation that he knew would unfairly restrict voting by disabled people and seniors merely as an act of political gamesmanship!

As in “The Governor doesn’t like this bill?? Well wait till she gets a load of this!”

What is this —  high school?

What a tool. The fact that he’s be elected often enough to have gained the seniority he has speak enough about his own district. Belongs in SC, not in NC.

Notice also that Tillis appears to still be dragging General Assembly staffers around with him from the Sergeant-at-Arms office (the guys standing in the background). Of course, it looks like a pretty unruly crowd.

He getting that chill running down his spine, or down his back where his spine should be, that Paul Ryan got at his little meetings. It’s fear, fear of citizens that are tired of being lied to, and manipulated by people who don’t represent their best interests. Things get uncomfortable when it’s in your face politics and you can’t hide behind an office door, that’s why Phil ain’t out and about.

I have never seen such cheap shots. I do not like Obama but I do respect the office. You can not find anything but trash to complain about. Why not talk about Obama traveling the country at taxpayers’ money on politicial tours promoting his program? Should he leave the Secret Service or staff behind? Why do you strike at no nothings things? The voters have stopped following you. You have begun talking to yourself.

I think Frances is getting ticked off just like esmay. I wonder why he types his name in small letters ?
