New, re-segregated Wake County school already showing the strain

If you’re trying to get a feel for the mess the current Wake School Board majority and superintendent have been making in recent months, check out this article/blog post by Cash Michaels, publisher of The Carolinian newspaper. 

Once again, the lesson is learned: Simply corraling poor and minority children into nice new facilities is NOT the answer.

Thank goodness the schools will soon be in the hands of a majority that has a clue. Let’s hope they make clear to the General right away who’s running the show.
