Two events in Raleigh tomorrow worth noting

At 11:00 am, opponents of the constitutional amendment banning gay marriage will march from the N.C. State Bell Tower to the General Assembly in an event labeled the “Ides of Love.” More than 900 people,  who plan to vote No on Amendment One on May 8th, will take to the streets.

Later at 4:00 pm, Move On.org will be hosting a “We are the 99% – Save our homes rally.” The event is scheduled for 130 E. Morgan St. in Raleigh near the Obama re-election headquarters. According to the sponsors:

“Over 6 million Americans lost their homes to foreclosure in the recent housing crisis. Ed DeMarco is a left over Bush appointee who heads the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Obama, Democrats, and all progressives want him out! On March 15th we will gather At 4 PM at the Obama state headquarters @…(more) 130 E Morgan Street to show him we support him and demand that he throw DeMarco out!”
