    You can’t put coverage on an additional 13-16 Million folks without running the cost way beyond the original estimates. The other problem is that the funding is very shaky, way too high on savings estimates, and basically a smoke and mirrors financial fiasco. Never mind the huge bureaucratic cost to run the darn thing.

    Your article looks like it came out of a college newspaper and it talks in circles. As you can see these are net costs, there are no “savings”, net cost. Was Obama lying to us or did he not have a clue?

    Ah, Frank, Frank, Frank. You make our blog so amusing and lively! Thank you for having so much time on your hands you can actually spend making stuff up! Keep it up please – you are increasing our unique visitors and page views with your drivel and we really appreciate it.

    The cost of the health law isn’t actually so hard. We know how much it costs to add the number of low income people we need to add to Medicaid. We know how many people will qualify for tax credits and how much that costs. To pay for it we cut costs out of private insurance companies in Medicare, lowered hospital costs, and taxed people making more than $250,000 a year. We know almost exactly how much that raises. And you know what we raise a little more than we spend for the expanded coverage. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

    Adam, you need to be a rocket scientist or a witch doctor to figure out how much the huge health care federal bureacracy will cost. Didn’t think of that, did you?

    Go Frank – bring it on! Nothing like a vague “bureaucracy” (you might want to get the spelling right by the way) comment. It’s perfect for you – fact free, completely fabricated, and appropriately unanswerable. I’m sure you’ll be immediately getting rid of all the federal health benefits you receive from the awful federal “bureaucracy” ASAP. If it’s bad for the country, you don’t need to be a part of it!
