Leslie Boyd of our mountain partner organization Life o’ Mike interviewed Vicki Meath about the difficulties she has had finding affordable health care coverage for her young daughter, Kaiana. Because of a pre-existing health problem, Kaiana’s health coverage from a private insurer cost $600 a month or more. But now, because of the new federal health law, lower-cost options are available:
