Highlights and Lowlights of March 2012

April is upon us and here at NC Policy Watch, we take a look back at a few moments in the past month of politics and policy issues that really affected North Carolinians: From Rep. George Cleveland stating that there is “no extreme poverty” in North Carolina [1] to New Hanover County Commissioner Ted Davis, Jr., on the issue of contraception, stated that if women were “responsible people and didn’t have sex to begin with” [2] that there would no need for a debate over a family planning grant.
