Now that the Supreme Court has upheld the heart of President Obama’s health care reform plan, many are wondering – what’s next for the Affordable Care Act?

House Republicans in Washington have scheduled a vote to repeal the ACA for July 11th. At the state level, Senate President Phil Berger says there are no plans for the state [1] to move forward in setting up North Carolina’s health care exchange this year.

Adam Linker [2] with the Health Access Coalition at the N.C. Justice Center [3] says while the issue will be a political football this election season, many aspects of the law are very popular with consumers.

Linker appears on News & Views with Chris Fitzsimon this weekend to discuss the this week’s historic ruling, how millions of North Carolinians are already benefiting from the law,  and what’s next in its implementation.
