This weekend on News & Views…(video)

The start of a new school year has children’s advocates thinking about the well-being of young people.

Deborah Bryan, president and CEO of Action for Children North Carolina, joins us this weekend on News & Views to discuss the need for adequate and sustained investments in public education as well as other safety-net programs.

A recent study ranked our state 34th in the nation in terms of how our children are faring, with one in four children in North Carolina living in poverty.
