North Carolina’s gubernatorial candidates go head to head again tonight in their second debate this month. Republican Pat McCrory and Democrat Walter Dalton square off at 7:00 p.m. at the University of North Carolina Television studios.
Most of the buzz though is about the presidential debate that begins two hours later at 9:00 p.m. at Hofstra University. Tonight’s format is a town hall style debate, with an audience of uncommitted voters chosen by the Gallup polling firm.
Political pundits and pollsters have called this the most important debate of the election season, with Mitt Romney gaining momentum following his first debate performance.
So what should viewers expect to see?
Politico has a good rundown this morning in “5 things to watch at the debate .”
