Lunch Links, with videos galore

Is anyone else’s stomach growling as much as mine? For my Lunch Links duty, I want to share this Wheel of Lunch website [1] that helps decide that vexing question – where or where should I eat?

For someone as indecisive as me when it comes to ordering lunch, this is a lifesaver.

I also thought I’d share a few videos I’ve watched this week. As part of a national effort to bring attention to worker’s rights issues at Walmart, a flashmob of steppers [2] showed up at this Raleigh Walmart yesterday.

I also wanted to share an interview [4] the UNC School of Journalism Dean Susan King had last year with Pat Stith, the retired Pulitzer Prize winning investigative reporter for the News & Observer. This has been making the rounds recently on the social media of various journalists I know in the state, and is a true pleasure to watch.

If you’ve ever wondered what a real newsman is like, carve out 20 minutes today to watch.

And, it wouldn’t be a Youtubed-themed post without some type of animal video. So, here’s a video [6] to scratch that itch. Don’t judge me too much, it’s Friday and I figured we could all use something on the less serious side this week.
