DHHS Secretary Wos: Excellence, accountability critical

On December 13, 2012 then Governor-elect Pat McCrory introduced his pick for Secretary of the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Aldona Wos. At the end of her short prepared remarks, Wos emphasized the importance of coming together to address health care challenges to “the people we serve.” She closed with some remarks that seem a little ironic given the turmoil in her agency in the last month:
