Expansion of Medicaid was part of barrycare. Therefore it is only unaffordable bc republicans have stubbornly and intentional created a situation the makes barrycare unaffordable. Let’s look at the affordability of healthcare when nc expands Medicaid. Until I respectfully request you withhold judgement .

Asking LSD to withhold judgement? That’s Mission Impossible. The Manhatten Institute is yet another far right “think tank” out of touch with reality, one that receives it’s funding from all the usual far-right wing nuts, not to mention it’s undisclosed corporate funders. It’s little more than a mouthpiece for special interests, mascerading as a policy research outfit.

    Hard to take it seriously.

Not only is the Obamacare fiasco driving up rates, but the healthcare situation will be made even worse by the burden put on the backs of taxpayers by the influx of illegals across the Mexican border.

Then perhaps all those “job creators” the GOP apparently loves so much should stop hiring the illegals? Problem solved?

Also, what about the burden of insurance industry fraud? Hospitals and other medical practices defrauding Medicaid and Medicare, as well as the omnipresent overbilling of Joe Average? Maybe if we tackled that instead of looking for scapegoats to blame would be a better policy?
