Read: Temporary restraining order on Senate confirmation of Gov. Cooper’s cabinet

Here is the final version of the temporary restraining order from a three judge panel on the N.C. Senate confirmation of Gov. Roy Cooper’s cabinet choices.

The order prevents any hearing on the issue until the panel again hears the issue on Friday at 11 a.m.

A hearing to confirm former state Rep.Larry Hall (D-Durham) as head of the Department of Military and Veteran Affairs was scheduled for 11 a.m. today.

N.C. House and Senate leaders have harshly criticized the ruling, accusing the judges of overstepping their role.
