The $600 a week extra was a slap in the face to those that were working March-August in “essential jobs! My own sons both were working, one as a National Guard as a front line MP and the other a student working at Home Depot. The NG got zero extra hazard pay, yet dealing with foreign nationals with a high % rate of the virus! The Home Depot employed Son was getting $50 extra a week as he was part time!

I have another story to share, a friend with a High school age son that has a car wash job two days on weekends. He normally took home $150 a week after taxes. So he got laid off in March and started getting $725 a week…explain that to me!

And yes, l have been working…but a pay cut…and no hazard pay!
