Reports: Pat McCrory to meet with Donald Trump Wednesday

Outgoing Gov. Pat McCrory will meet Wednesday in New York with President-elect Donald Trump, only 48 hours after conceding the gubernatorial election to Roy Cooper.

Trump transition aide Sean Spicer told reporters that McCrory will meet with the president-elect in New York on Wednesday following Trump attending a transition fundraising breakfast, according to The Hill.

There were no additional details released about the meeting.

McCrory’s press office would not confirm or deny the meeting, and instead asked for an email requesting the information, which has not been answered.

Multiple emails and calls to Trump’s transition team over the last couple weeks have gone unanswered, including one Tuesday.
